Tartine is our newest tour stop on Coronado Island. Tartine is that European style cafe that keeps you coming back for more.  Not only do they serve up some of the richest sweets for all of you dessert lovers, they have some AMAZING appetizers and dishes. Tartine has a little something for everyone. Stop in at any time of the day to enjoy a glass of wine or a bowl of soup. If you’re looking to hang out and chat with some staff members, this is the place to be. Their welcoming atmosphere and outdoor patio are a favorite for their locals and visitors.

Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream–North Park & Pacific Beach

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. With the nice weather, lately, and summer right around the corner, what better place to join us than a magnificent ice cream shop. Hammond’s Gourmet Ice Cream is awesome because they make people’s ice cream dreams come true. I know you’ve heard of beer flights, mimosa flights and maybe even cake flights. But have you ever heard of ice cream flights? With Hammond’s Ice Cream on our Pacific Beach tour, our North Park tour and a location opening soon in Point Loma, you are sure to love them. Try as many flavors as you can, I promise you, it’s worth it.

URBN Coal Fired Pizza–Encinitas

There are so  many great things to say about URBN Coal Fired Pizza, I can sit here all day and list them off. Most importantly, we are so glad to have them as a part of our Encinitas tour. URBN has been a long time friend of ours, they are involved in our private tour groups in the North Park area. We are so excited they made it to the coast in Encinitas! We can’t say it enough, URBN is fun and vibrant, they just give off those happy vibes. URBN’s hand-crafted pizzas are made with some of the most delicious bases and gourmet toppings. Try their restaurant specialties or make your own, regardless, you will not be dissapointed. If you are looking for a casual night out of fun, you NEED to visit here.

The Rooftop La Jolla

If you know The Rooftop La Jolla (originally Prospect Bar), you know they are exquisite with their location, food, drinks and transformation into a night club after sunset. It’s really a place you don’t want to miss out on. The Rooftop La Jolla is tucked away in La Jolla shores, one of our favorite areas in San Diego! The Rooftop La Jolla describes themselves as a “bright, daytime spot for American eats with lounge atmosphere, a bustling patio & music after dark”. As the younger generation might say, this place is always “poppin’”. Posted below is a picture from their patio where Colby M. from Yelp gives a perfect description “Drinks and salads with a side of Pacific”. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Meze Greek Fusion–Downtown

Wow is this place cool. If you don’t know what the word meze itself means, let me tell you. The word “mezé” translates as “taste” – meaning both “flavor” and “a taste of something.” What better way to incorporate them into our tour than applying their “taste” with our “bites”, creating a dynamic duo (and an awesome plate of food).  Meze is super versatile. It is a Luxe bar and restaurant offering Greek-inspired small plates & entrees. Not only that, but they also have hookah and cocktails. This family-owned bar and restaurant features finely crafted Greek cuisine with a Southern California twist. Check out their “about me” section on their website and find out why Greeks are so freakin’ sweet!

The San Diego food scene just keeps growing! It really doesn’t get much better than this.

Happy Chomping, Fellow Foodies!
