Our North Park San Diego Food Tour is for ages 21+.
Join us in one of San Diego’s hippest little hoods for arts, foodie finds, and boutique shopping: North Park! As one of the oldest communities in the City of San Diego, North Park has no lack of historical tidbits and quirky facts, now alongside droves of progressive restaurants, owned and operated by long established San Diegans’.
Take a pleasant stroll along 30th Street and discover how North Park was once a wilting lemon grove and still home of the oldest “Chinese Laundry” in the city! Listen to your guide talk about the first real estate firm in town, walk past the infamous North Park sign, and hear how the completion of Highway 80 brought new life to this area.
You’ll enjoy bites of fresh, handmade pretzels (the only place like it in San Diego!), sample artisan cheeses, grab a slice of Neapolitan pizza, snack on a slider, hang at the most popular wine bar & lounge in town, AND finish it off with a sweet treat. All while marveling at the turn-of-the-century Craftsman Bungalows and the first theater out of downtown San Diego that showcased “talkies.”
