Restaurant Spotlight: Le Parfait Paris

November 5, 2016Spotlight Review

Bonjour! It’s time to crave your sweet tooth and the perfect place to do that is at Le Parfait Paris. This French-inspired bakery and cafe has been serving up some tasty pastries and baked goods since the CEO, Guillaume Ryon and COO, Ludi Mas, missed the little piece of France they love.

Guillaume grew up in the French Riviera and moved to Paris to study. When he moved to San Diego, Guillaume was missing the taste of France. That’s when he decided to provide San Diegans with a true experience of French food but without the fanciness and high prices. Along with the COO, Ludi Mas, who was born in France and discovered her passion for cooking from her grandmother. Ludi’s passion of food and education went hand in hand and she joined a team with Guillaume to create Le Parfait Paris.

Le Parfait Paris was created and has been excelling ever since. Their pledge to San Diego is “to deliver high-quality French pastries and baked goods using only the finest ingredients.” Le Parfait Paris believes in authenticity and bringing a stunning experience to their customers. They plan to expand throughout the state but will always stay true to their roots alongside the community and other local businesses.

Le Parfait is well-known for their colorful, handcrafted, all-natural and gluten-free macarons. With flavors including lavender, pistachio, vanilla, lemon, cafe mocha, caramel sea salt, chocolate, chocolate peanut butter, raspberry, strawberry, green-tea and mango-passion-fruit. Grab one or grab a box or grab Ludi’s macaron (composed with carefully picked quality raspberry cuts and layered with a litchi and rose cream, it represents the ultimate “delice de france”.)  We can promise you, you will NOT be disappointed.

On top of the macarons, don’t forget to try their desserts they are famous for. You can’t go wrong with their Parfait signature, the Trilogie (designed for all chocolate lovers), Frenchy Cheesecake, Lava Cake, Milles-Feuilles (a three-layered puffy pastry), a raspberry red velvet eclair, a chocolate eclair, a Paris-Brest eclair, a lemon, basil and ginger eclair or a passion fruit mango and pineapple eclair. Who knows, you might even find something different on the menu while you’re there, too.
